Lovely: Joy Behar likens religion to drug addiction

In discussing news about “Two and a Half Men” star Angus Jones’ comments on faith, Current TV host Joy Behar compared drug addiction to devout faith.

Hi, my name is Meredith and I’m an addict, or something.

JOY BEHAR: You know, the thing about this kid is that he also had a downward trend. He was using drugs, and then he found religion. A lot of times I’ve noticed that people do that. They’re on drugs, and then they give up drugs, they need a new addiction, and the new addiction is religion.

Hm.  If progressives like Behar had their way, what would you suppose rehab for the religious would look like?

    Joy Behar – consider this

Job 4:13 – “In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men.

fear came upon me and trembling which made all my bones to shake.
then a Spirit passed before my face; the **** on my flesh stood up.
it stood still but I could not discern the form thereof; an image was before my eyes,
there was silence and I heard a Voice saying.

“Doth not their excellency which is in them, go away? They die, even without wisdom.”
