Posted on December 10, 2012 at 9:50amWhy is this simply a blog post and not a news story on the website? Why don’t you take the time to explain how the rate is calculated and link to the Bureau of Labor Stats website showing what is “excluded” from the calculation? http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t15.htm Why don’t you tell the American people that the government’s unemployment rate doesn’t consider people to be unemployed if they are unemployed, wish to have a job, but have stopped looking for work, nor does it include those people who have had to settle for part-time jobs because there are no full-time jobs available? If you want to be considered a real news organization, start acting like one and enough already with the stories about viral videos, SNL skits, dressed monkies, etc.

Posted on December 9, 2012 at 10:45amWhat the media are claiming is like me saying, “My car just got 300 miles per gallon” , but without mentioning that it was been going downhill all the time with my foot off the gas.”
“Ho, ho, ho.” Merry Mishmash.” The jobless rate dropped as a result of hiring temporary holiday help. Come January, it will shoot right back above to 8.2%
The number of people who have dropped out of the workforce, including those who stopped looking for work, are not inclued in the unemployment rate. These numbers have been increasing EVERY MONTH since Obama took office. The actual unemployment rates in a majority of the country’s 369 metropolitan areas are far higher than 7.7%. The Labor Department says all but six saw their jobless rates rise in December from a year earlier. Manufacturing layoffs have been the hardest hit.
All these jobs that Obama claimed to have created are all, low-salary service jobs or part-time jobs that he counts as full-time jobs (along with counting “jobs saved” as “jobs created”). But, he’s lost far more jobs – even these non-jobs – than he’s allegedly created and is the first President to not have created a single net job.
Our economy is also killing those of our allies (the few we have left). Panasonic is closing 27 plants worldwide that make HDTVs. Time Warner cable is laying off over 1,200 people in a few weeks. Hard to enjoy The Voice or X-Factor when you’re out of work.

Posted on December 8, 2012 at 11:49amLowest level of unemployment in twenty years, more people on food stamps than ever and 308,000 people who just gave up looking for a job last month. Our economy is going like a house on fire!
