A picture is worth 1,000 words: Michigan teacher makes the case for homeschooling

This eager beaver from the Michigan Education Association was super excited to be in Lansing yesterday, protesting Right-to-Work legislation and someone named Gov. “Synder.”  Of course, the governor’s name is Rick Snyder, not Synder.

In case you needed another reason to homeschool your kids, consider Exhibit B:

Keep up the good work. Home schooling and the independent online plans to educate the childen will save our kids. Common Core – are you familiar with Common Core? It is the national education system adopted by 46 states and DC. If not stopped, CC will be fully implemented in 2014. Los Angeles Unified School District will begin Common Core, K-1, Spring 2013. This is a federally mandated system to educate the children. The school boards, parents and teachers do not have a vote on cirriculum. This is the Agenda 21 in our schools and the charter and private schools are on the drawing board. Our work in Ventura County, CA to protect private property will now include stopping Common Core. Google national governors association common core. Be sure you’re sitting down!
