Barbara Walters asks Chris Christie if he’s too fat to be president

Remember the days when Barbara Walters was something of a serious journalist?

Nowadays, her idea of “fascinating” questions to ponder include how an overweight governor could possibly be considered a serious contender for president.  In fairness to her, she says she is “uncomfortable” asking such a ridiculous question…

As you may have heard, Christie landed a spot on Walters’ list of the year’s “most fascinating” people. This year, the New Jersey governor scored a spot on the list alongside people like Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas and actor/director Ben Affleck.

Why yes, yes he is…..but it’s not body fat holding him back, it’s the lard betwixt the ears that’s keeping him off Pennsylvania Avenue.

He’s not too fat to be considered, but he obviously faces increased health risks associated with obesity. As such, it would be especially important Christie picks a strong running mate to alleviate voter concern. Anything “Palin like” would spell disaster for his campaign.

Christie isn’t too fat to be our President.
It’s not his weight that I have a problem with.

He’s just too stinking liberal to be a Republican.
    He’s a Demoncrat disguised as a Republican.

      agree completely what a RINO.

On the other hand he should have said “should you be taken seriously as a journalist when people can barely understand you with your ridiculous speech impediment, not to mention you’re a liberal democrat hack!”

He should have responded by asking “do you think it’s ok for people with speech impediments to conduct interviews on national television?”
