Dick Morris’ latest prediction: Democrats will become Republicans
Here’s a weird one.
Republican Strategist Dick Morris writes in The Hill: If President Obama succeeds in getting congressional Republicans to agree on raising tax rates, Democrats… somehow lose.
From his column:
Victory could prove the undoing of the Democratic Party. If Obama has his way and runs America into the ground through spending, borrowing and taxing, the resulting economic disaster will convert all those demographic Democrats into new Republicans. They will see, firsthand and vividly, the results of Obama’s economic policies and they will recoil in horror.
It didn’t happen in 2012 because things had not gotten bad enough. Now they will, and the political consequences will be severe for this president and his party.

Posted on December 12, 2012 at 10:23amI understand Dick’s comment, but he is wrong. Not as long as the left controls the mainstream media. Unless the Republicans totally walk away and disown this one they will still receive the blame. Even if they walk away they will somehow still be blamed, but they will then be able to easily disown it.
It is the only way. The people have become sheep, incapable of coherently thinking for themselves. They just regurgitate talking points they hear from Stewart, Maher, Matthews and the like or what they read from other morons on Facebook and Twitter. It is a hopeless situation.
Morris’ only fault is crediting the average American for more intelligence than they actually have. Most people can no longer add one and one.
Oh, BTW, if this insults you…then it probably should! :-)
