Just a photo of Glenn Beck in a plaid shirt and paisley tie

On Glenn Beck‘s radio program this morning he caught some heat for wearing an outfit we’ll mercifully describe as “festive.”

“Who puts paisley on top of plaid?!” remarked one Blaze staffer who requested anonymity.

Beck, however, was confident in his choices. So confident, he posed for this photo.

I love how the Blaze staffer requested anonymity. What’s Glenn gonna do, fire you for criticizing his attire? I highly doubt it.

I’m just glad he doesn’t dye his hair.

Glenn, I liked it, it looked good, and very cheerful, and pairing it with the dark jacket made it very dashing…..SOOO MUCH BETTER than the grey pinstripe suit you wore a few years ago…..

If you look at it for a minute, it actually works in a somewhat over-the-top way! And whoever thinks you can’t put patterns together is rather provincial in thinking….

Sorry Glenn, but it’s a basic fashion rule, don’t mix patterns, it clashes…

I think it’s great, Glenn! Reminds me of all the plaids and paisleys in the covers on that wonderful sleigh bed in “The Santa Clause”. They just do work together for some reason. My hubby’s fav part of the whole movie is seeing that bed with all its welcoming bedclothes. :)

      You’ve changed my mind OLM.
I was going to say that Glenn should have worn a solid green tie to look festive and GQ.
But your description of Santa’s bed is so delightful, I love it.
I think Glenn has captured that festive and joyful look.

Quite dashing, I must say Glenn! —in a rainbow stealing or crayola box sort of way……but it does work you, you fashion genius!!! (Parts of this comment may be sarcastic or exaggerated – you decide which)

Funny, I was sitting here about an hour ago wondering how your eyes were doing, Glenn…and then I saw this picture. Maybe a telethon would be in order.

Glenn, I can’t get my wife to watch you seriously because she is aways commenting on your lack of fashion sense… She can’t hear you over how LOUDLY your clothes are shouting. =/
