It’s worth noting that it’s already December 21 in Australia and we’re still here.  Take that, Mayans.

On a related note, I’m disappointed in the creativity of our Australian neighbors.  If I were in charge, I would’ve shut down all social media sites in Australia so no one there could post updates.  How freaked out would Americans get if every Australian suddenly dropped off the face of the internet on the Mayan doomsday?  You missed a golden prank opportunity, mates.
