Palin slams Time’s ‘Person of the Year’ pick

In case you hadn’t heard, Time magazine named President Barack Obama as its pick for 2012′s “Person of the Year” (again). According to the mag’s editor, Rick Stengel, “We are in the midst of historic cultural and demographic changes, and Obama is both the symbol and in some ways the architect of this new America.” Uh-huh.

But the Obama lovefest stopped at the doors of Fox News last night when former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin slammed the liberal publication for its pick — not by disparaging the mag or the president, but with a little self-deprecating humor of her own.

This was a pleasant reminder of why I liked Palin in the first place — she’s one of the very few conservative politicians out there who isn’t afraid to laugh at herself. Kudos to her.

Time just recognized the greatest traitor this nation will ever know as man of the year. When truth be told (and it will some day), I believe Americans will be appauld at who Obama really is and what he has done behind closed doors.

  Sad part is truth be told – a lot of it – and we still had 3+ million people decide our country was not worth voting for. And now here we are. Maybe the sorry sob did deserve it as he won an election he never should have won – sad day for America

I think she thinks “Time” magazine is a book about clocks and watches, therefore I understand her questioning why the President was chosen.

  She is the “true Palin” she sees the lying, fraudulent POS for what he is and isn’t. The Time magazine pick for the year is yet another example of the MSM not doing their job of vetting the bast**d when they had the chance and still defending the “great Pretender” Barack Hussein Obama.

  @65MUSTANG – you’re commenting to the wrong person. It doesn’t take the “true Paln” to tell us what a fraudulent pos he is and why would anybody be surprised that Time would pick him. I couldn’t care less who or what they picked but what I do care about is what is happening to our beautiful God given country. I, my family, my families, frriends, and all church members were not among those 3-4 million who just stayed at home or would not vote for the presidential candidate because their I guess their country just was not worth it. Now go and comment to all the palinistas, paulbots and all in between that helped this sorry sob get another four years. My heart breaks for my kids, my grandkids and all those who truly love this country – AND not some piece of trash magazine with a piece of trash on the front.
