In HuffPost: Michael Moore wonders if Americans are ‘worried Indians from the casino may go on the warpath’

In a column for Huffington Post, liberal filmmaker Michael Moore says “it’s true” that “gun massacres aren’t going to end any time soon,” even with new regulations.

It’s a cheery piece wherein he examines what leads to gun violence in America. He names three causes: Poverty, the “me” society and:

“FEAR/RACISM. We’re an awfully fearful country considering that, unlike most nations, we’ve never been invaded. (No, 1812 wasn’t an invasion. We started it.) Why on earth would we need 300 million guns in our homes? I get why the Russians might be a little spooked (over 20 million of them died in World War II). But what’s our excuse? Worried that the Indians from the casino may go on the warpath? Concerned that the Canadians seem to be amassing too many Tim Horton’s donut shops on both sides of the border?

“No. It’s because too many white people are afraid of black people. Period. The vast majority of the guns in the U.S. are sold to white people who live in the suburbs or the country. When we fantasize about being mugged or home invaded, what’s the image of the perpetrator in our heads? Is it the freckled-face kid from down the street — or is it someone who is, if not black, at least poor?”

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

I’m worried that Russia and China might go on the warpath, and come after Michael Moore.

    But, not TOO worried.

I’m thinking the only way the Indians would go on the war path is if Mikey Moore-on tries to get near the “all-you-can-eat buffet”. The entire Indian casino business structure would collapse!

Moore is a zombie. Zombies should not be listened too. If you let them get too close so you can hear, they will try to eat you. Too many people have listened to Moore. He has gotten very fat from that.

If someone were to break into my home…I would not look at the color of their skin before shooting them dead. Evil people come in all sizes and colors, no discrimination here.

Who says gun owning Americans are afraid of anything? My guess is most legal gun owners are pretty happy, knowing they are safe and sound in their homes. The people who are afraid are the ones living in inner city Hell-Holes knowing they are sitting ducks for the bad guys who feast on them, robbing, raping and killing them thanks to the feckless politicians who could care less about their safety. With all due, respect, or lack of it, Mr. Moore doesn’t know the truth from his sizable arse.

The only people that spew racist hatred are people like moore trying to keep the pitiful fat faces in the public eye. The people that scare me look just like michael moore. And please take away all these people body guards and let’s see how fast they find a gun.

I’m Canadian, and here’s something about Moore’s beloved Canada that he won’t tell you:

We’re the country where modern mass school shootings began, NOT the America he thinks is so evil:

PS: why does he employ an armed bodyguard — something it would be VERY hard for him to do in Canada?

I wonder why Fatty Moore doesn’t ask why pro athletes many who are black carry guns?Is it to keep them safe from black people or American Indians on a warpath!Racist liberals need to guide lemming liberals off a cliff so we can be a Republic again.

This guy has nothing else. If he stops making sensationally offensive remarks to the media and on talk shows he will cease to exist. Nothing that comes out of his mouth is the truth or relevant.

I guessing Michael Moore is pretty despondant now that Twinkies aren’t available. Perhaps now that Twinkies aren’s available he won’t be fat anymore. Which would follow his arguement that if guns weren’t available there would be no crimes commited using a gun. Looking forward to the slimmer MM.

“we’ve never been invaded.” You Fat Fluke!! The reason we haven’t been invaded may be a direct result that we Citizens ARE armed!!! I apologize to all the kind and decent “fluffy” people but this creature makes my blood boil and his bottom feeding attitude even makes lawyers cringe!!!

I read the whole article. I don’t have a Huff account, and I don’t intend to get one, so I guess I make my commenting here.

He admits that gun control is not the real problem, but still pushes for gun control.

He notes, correctly, that other countries have violent video games without the literal violence against countrymen, but completely misses the point that those same countries have had their own violent bloody wars and history as if that is specific to America.

He says “we are a nation founded on genocide and built on the backs of slaves.” This alone invalidates the rest of the article as blood-colored lensed biased. We most certainly are not. We have some areas of poor history, but just as today, there were people for or against issues, but to hear a liberal tell it, the whole country rose up and murdered the Indians and beat the slaves.

He’s against the death penalty, because it’s better to spend tax dollars on a serial murderer than give his victims justice. Liberals don’t want them to reform either, what with the efforts at chaplain censoring.

“We think nothing of letting tens of thousands of our own citizens die each year because they are uninsured and thus don’t see a doctor until it’s too late.” Says who? We acknowledge that doctors cost money. Hospitals are ripoffs, charging 5x’s or more than the stuff cost. Crappy “universal” healthcare won’t fix it. Are you going to fix man’s greed by forcing it?

No. He isn’t worrying if American Indians are going to go on the warpath. He was using a question as a hypothetical as a question about why Americans are so fearful of their fellow citizens. But hey if this can be used as a thing where it looks like “the liberal filmmaker made a racist-sounding comment against American Indians” the Blaze’ll use it! Right!?
