The number of Americans paying attention has increased as the deadline for Congress to reach a deal avoiding the cliff comes closer:

Dec. 26, 2012 at 7:23pmMost Americans, especially Obama’s legions of leeching lemmings, won’t pay ANY attention to the cliff until they see the larger tax deductions on their paychecks, right before the ennui economy — Obamalaise — hits the rocks at the bottom of said cliff! When the wicked rule, the people mourn!

Dec. 26, 2012 at 7:20pmPlunging off the fiscal cliff is a virtual certainty. There is an impasse in Washington, with Boehner unable to garner enough support to pass his Plan B, which Obama says he would veto anyway. Meanwhile, the Permavacation President, also known as Golfendude, is on a 3-week vacation in Hawaii, where he is once again occupied with his REAL full-time job — GOLF!

Dec. 26, 2012 at 4:04pmHow does this qualify as a “news story”? This is a three sentence statement with a chart. Come on, real news please. Put at least a little bit of effort into your reporting. This is rediculous.

Dec. 26, 2012 at 7:16pmSo news only becomes such based upon dependencies such as the number so words it takes to explain it?
If a picture is word a thousand words, then the chart shown above certainly qualifies as news.
