This is just one degree below the absolute meltdown radio host Alex Jones had on CNN Monday, wherein he, too, referenced the regimes of Hitler and Stalin in conversation (for lack of a better word) about gun control.

It makes more sense to compare Obama to Hitler than it does to compare him to Lincoln.Obama can’t get much more like Hitler unless of course he starts rounding up the Tea Party for a “Final Solution” and he can’t get much less like Lincoln than he already is for obvious reasons.So, how is Obama like Hitler? Let me count the ways:Hitler was the bastard son of a loving mother, Obama is the bastard son of an unloving mother.Hitler was a worthless do-nothing until he convinced people through his oratory skills to give him power, Obama is a worthless do-nothing to this day who attained power through oratory skill.Hitler allowed private ownership of businesses but influenced their day to day operations taking money from them as he pleased, so does Obama.Hitler was a racist who had respect and admiration only for Germans of good Aryan racial background, Obama is a racist who has respect and admiration only for Americans of African racial background. Hitler changed the Weimar Constitution to allow laws to be passed by his executive order bypassing the Reichstag (German Congress) and Obama passes laws by executive order and has absolutely no respect for the Constitution.Hitler seized all privately owned firearms which Obama is still trying to figure out how to do.Hitler was supported by some short-sighted Jews who eventually paid for their mistake and incredibly, Obama is supported by MOST American Jews who obviously “know not what they do”. Hitler died with a gun to his head..

Drudge is right on (and way better than TheBlaze) and Alex Jones did what he thought he needed to do to control the conversation with a Leftist idiot. I think Jones is nutty but he does bring up stuff that is out-of-the-box for people to think about.

This is a good advertisement for the Drudge Report. Besides being one of the very few references to Hitler and Stalin that is appropriate, on Drudge there are not any annoying pop-ups and advertising crammed into every square inch of the page. No garbage to slow down my PC. And no mandatory scanning and clean-up after viewing. This attempt at landing a cheap-shot on Drudge should backfire on The Blaze. This cheap-shot by The Blaze is more than “just one degree below” The Drudge Report.

All tyrants who have killed 100′s of millions of their own citizens just in the 20th century alone know; gun control works. More than killed in the actual wars. You are correct Bobert, most of the Amerian population does not know history and are about to repeat it.
Armed people are citizens. unarmed people are subjects.
Every president I can remember going back to nixon was compared to hitler. But this time, it is entirely appropriate. ‘he who shall not be named’ a.k.a. ovomit, hates America and seeks her demise.

I have had a growing suspicion over the last year or so that Obama and his administration will further weaken our military by stretching them thin and exhausting them in various conflicts around the world. They then will, as they are working on at this very moment, confiscate as many weapons as possible before they create a crisis of a war and/or unleashing their full plan of economic destruction which will lead to societal chaos & breakdown allowing them to implement martial law most likely using Obama’s DHS to enforce it. At this point I believe that the DHS may have more ammunition than our military! Our wonderful American soldiers who have sworn to defend against threats foreing or DOMESTIC will be spread everywhere but here exhausted & spent unable to effectively respond. God help us and ‘deliver us from evil’

It might be shocking, but the headline that goes with it is even more shocking. So basically, if Feinstein can’t get her legislation passed through Congress, Obama is going to sign an EO that will make it law anyway.

How is that not almost exactly the same as what Hitler and Stalin did? Our veterans fought to rid the world of tyrants in foreign lands and we’ve gone ahead and elected a tyrant that we’ll now have to fight domestically because no one is going to come to our aid. May God help us all.

All the hysteria over the headline seems to forget- Hitler outlawed Jewish gun ownership in 1938, and look what happened. The headline is much more likely Jewish Matt Drudge expressing alarm, rather than Conservative Matt Drudge being crass.

Well, Drudge could have put up the pictures of the leaders of Cambodia, Rwanda, Uganda, Guatemala, Red Chia, or Ottoman Turkey, as well . . . but guess that less than 1% of the population would be able to identify those gun-grabbing dictators . . . Hilter and Stalin on the other hand – both recognizable faces.
All told the count is somewhere north of 170 million citizens that have been executed not by combat in war or as “collateral damage” (accidental injury) but rather simply because once the government obtained an absolute monopoly on force it was able to slaughter people with impunity . . . and did.
