USA Today has an interactive map that lets you see what gun control measures each state is currently considering. Predictably, blue states are looking to crack down on gun access and a handful of red states are looking to loosen gun restrictions.

State of Florida: Head of Florida’s Dept. of Education does NOT want to legally arm qualitied teachers, leaving our public schools ” Gun Free Zones “. This is Not a positive solution. However, concealed carry permits are increasing. This IS a positive solution – but Not for the gun free zones. Floridians must recall our Dept. of Education ” chief ” and hire a more reasonable / logical replacement.

My state is banning Assault Weapons, banning high capacity magazines (greater than 7 rounds), requiring a mental health examination, and making Pistol Permits holders re-certify every five years.
