CNN bests Fox News, MSNBC in Inauguration Day ratings

A press release from CNN sent out today boasts its Inauguration Day ratings, beating out both Fox News and MSNBC.

From 11 a.m to 12:15 p.m., the time slot for the Oath of Office and the Inaugural address, CNN had more than 3 million viewers total. MSNBC came in at a distant second with 2.25 million and Fox finished third with 1.3 million.

Later, during the prime time hours of 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., CNN came out on top again, garnering 3.5 million viewers. Fox, with 1.7 million viewers, moved ahead of MSNBC, which got 1.4 million.

It’s worth noting that Fox largely played regularly scheduled programs in the prime time hours, like The O’Reilly Factor and Hannity, with only some news updates on what was happening at the Inaugural balls. Both CNN and MSNBC had special coverage and anchors live at the events.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

As an intelligent member of society, I choose not to watch the fraudulent inauguration of a lying POS. FOX is the only channel I watch…can’t stomach the “that man.”

Exactly!!!!! not doubt in my mind the main media, alphabet media was miles ahead of fox. why would a conservative watch the biggest liar, thug and fraud in American history the second time? Unfortunately, Americans are stupid. We hold congress to a 9% approval rating and re-elected 94% of the idiots.

It was a toss-up between the inauguration on CNN and rectal surgery on ORLive.com.

I made the patriotic decision to watch rectal surgery. I wanted to understand what Obama is going to do to the country in the next 4 years.

observation from a little part of the planet: at a nursing home, one CNA (certified nurses assistant), who loves the President, takes care of 10 residents, each resident has a tv in their room and she decides to turn on CNN (because FOX news lies) to watch her historical President while caring for these residents, that is 10 tv’s with CNN, then let’s say there are two CNAs, that would be 20 tv’s with CNN, now the facility total census is 100 and 10 CNA’s with all 10 CNA’s being devout President supporters, now let us say there are four common areas with 1 tv in each common area and all are channeled to CNN, then multiply the number of nursing homes across the country with this same scenario. Just an observation

What a shock to know that the lowest news channel won ratings from those who worship the lowest human being (if you can call him human) that has ever held office. All with the intent of destroying American Constitutional rights with mobster tactics. Sorry, I missed every single second of that farce.

Why would anyone expect regular Fox viewers to tune in to watch the inauguration of that man?

Of course Fox didn’t have as many viewers as the other stations. Fox viewers have a lot better things to do than listen to more lies from Obama.
