As you may have read over on the front side of things, Sen. Dianne Feinstein has formally introduced her proposed assault weapons ban. But if you think the only guns at risk from this bill are military-style rifles, think again.

The list of weapons that would be banned under Feinstein’s bill includes 150 different firearms. Is yours on the list?

if you read all of the bill,glocks would be banned, glock18 is selective fire. there may be others. leave it to our govt. to do nothing that will actually work

Look up Franklin County, Indiana, they just passed an Ordiance to Protect the 2nd Amendment, as many other counties of states have done recently. Many sheriffs departments are onboard with the
NRA and Americans.
Q. If the U.S. government is going to arm Egypt with major fire power, and their leader hates
Americans shouldn’t we be allowed to protect ourselves from them ? And if our government is supporting them who the hell is supporting ( protecting ) us ?

Those who trade security for liberty have neither. And we see it everyday. People willing to give up all their liberties for an Obamaphone, food stamps and subsidized housing. Ask the common person in Communist and Socialists countries how giving up their liberty for security has worked out for them. Of course they will likely be killed if they tell you how they actually feel. Of course on the flip side I know business people so greedy that they would sell their mother and daughters on the street corner if it increased their bottom line. Integrity (uprightness, honesty, sincerity) and honor (adherence to principals) are hard to find today but they are out there. Feinstein and her ilk are simply playing on the willing to trade rights and liberties for security.

real gun legaslation from a convicted felons point of view

The second amendment is a straight forward,no nonsence saying.
basically all firearm laws are illegal and a violation of that.
even the states have no legal authority to make a law that goes against
the constitution.
there is nothing in the bill of rights that says if you are a felon
you cannot have a firearm..

the second amendment was not put in place for hunting it was put into place
because the british were trying to confinscate all of the powder and arms
from the citizens so they could rule over them how they see fit.I
would like to remind everyone that over 50,000 convicted felons were
sent here from england and alot of those felons fought for americas freedom
from the british,also there is a huge number of felons who fought in the cival war
and all other wars up untill recent history,during vietnam if you were non violent
first offender the judge would give you a choice sign up or go to jail.

franklin says “NO FREEMAN shall ever be barred from the use of a firearms”

the only people who are not free men are those in prison or other institutions OR
ON PROBATION OR PAROLE.

murderers and rapist were hung back in those days,but others were sent to
jail served there time paid there debt
and when they got out they were then allowed to own a firearm..

the goverment will never be able to get the guns from anyone who wishes to get one
no matter what the try to ban..drugs are illegal,

  speeding is illegal,stealing is illegal
  ,lying is illegal,i could go on and on but all of these things are still going on and they will
  always be going on,there are still going to be killing and rapes and thiefs.so how do we solve
  this,there are only two ways..
  
  1)ban all guns from everyone including police.this would require a change in our constitution
  and also leave america vulnerable for attack.but there would be no more gun violence,
  there would still be crime and rape and murder and thiefs,they would just commit them by other means.
  
  2)remove all gun laws as they are all illegal anyway,let everyone that is a freeman have a firearm,
  this will cut down on crime and jail population,when is the last time there was a mass shooting at a gun show,police station or the local FBI
  building,so if everyone at the bank had a gun who will rob it…so here is the catch and the only law that needs to be
  on the books,EVERY FREEMAN SHOULD HAVE A FIREARM BUT IF YOU ARE CAUGHT WITH A FIREARM IN THE COMMISION OF A FELONY IT IS A FEDERAL
  OFFENCE WITH A 20 YEAR MANDATORY PRISON SENTENCE IF SOMEONE DIES THEN IT IS AN AUTOMATIC DEATH SENTENCE…THEN AFTER THERE 20 YEARS

  You are essentially correct. Remember the Bill of Rights(BOR) does not confer any rights. The preamble to the BOR says the purpose of the Amendments known as the BOR is to restrict government. Shall not be infringed means that government cannot regulate arms, period! If you don;t want a violent felon to have access to arms, keep him locked up (too expensive) or execute him (my preferred choice).

  While Sara Brady is no friend to gun owners, I just took a quick look and she didn’t actually say that. I think it’s important to fight this all out assault on the Second Amendment with facts. We can definitely do that without citing false quotes – there are plenty of legitimate reasons that this is all wrong, lets not give the liberals any reason to discredit us. I hope this helps.

Should we register people that go to bars as possible future Drunk Drivers?
Should we register people that have been involved in accidents because they may intentionally run someone over in the future?
Maybe we should register the parent that disciplines their child… they may be abusive later…
How about campers that go out and light fires at night… they may be an arsonist
We should register all smokers… after all… all that second hand smoke kills people. Are they murderers?
How about Butchers and Chefs? After all… they are pretty darn good with knives.
And construction workers… where is Jimmy Hoffa??

Yea… you get the point. Start registering law abiding citizens and where does it stop?

Eventually, and anyone that owns a gun owns an eventually gun. That is the only kind there is under this KILL THE CONSTITUTION dictator. I have been stalked and I have been set on fire during an attempted rape. Given the choice, I picked the fire instead of the rape. Holder call us all cowards – he would not have the scars I have. Months in the burn unit, 3 surgeries, lifelong nerve damage. THIS IS A REAL WAR ON WOMAN! WAR ON FREEDON! Look at the law abiding people in Mexico getting slaughtered daily. Can we get real for a minute and set aside the pathetic emotionalism that seems to run (and ruin) everyone’s life? In 2011, Based on CDC data, 32,164 people were killed by firearms. This statistic includes, Homicides, Suicides, and Accidental deaths. For arguments sake and simplicity, lets assume that all of these deaths were the result of one person per event thus making the total number of people pulling the trigger that year the same as the amount killed (32,164). Is this a high number? Of course. But when looked at from the view of a 300,000,000 people country, that totals 0.000109213% of the population. So you’re telling me we need to violate the rights of 99.999890787& percent of the American people? How does this make any sense? Punish the overwhelming majority because of the miniscule minorities idiocy?
