When did legit media questions become ‘an attack’?

Poor Al Gore.

Despite being $100 million richer after selling Current TV to Al Jazeera, the former vice president just can’t catch a break. Politico worries that Gore isn’t the “media darling” he used to be.

From “Today” to “Morning Joe” to “Late Show with David Letterman” to “The Daily Show,” Gore has come under attack by his interviewers for his decision to sell Current TV to Al Jazeera.

“Come under attack”?

Woah–just watch these rapid-fire hard-line “gotcha” questions Gore had to tackle from the rabid media:

Asking legit questions of an environmental nut who sold his business to a media company backed by fossil fuel sales is the equivalent of an “attack” these days?

They believe they are attacking him because they know they were deliberately protecting him previously.

As to Politico’s worry that he’s lost his luster well, let’s see:

Cheated on his wife. Accused of soliciting his masseuse. His climate predictions have not come true. His network failed. He sold the network to an Arabic news group financed by oil.

He’s sold out every principle he ever said he held. Eventually people start to notice–even people on the left.

I can answer the question. Legit media questions became an attack once the media became a propaganda machine for the left leaning ruling party. The left leaning ruling party expects and/or demands nothing but softball questions and praise. When these expectations are not met, it is perceived as an attack.

Can’t say when gangs and one-mind(less)edness started but, pc policing really started to squeeze freedom of speech.

Since Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign recorded fact became “snippets”,
questions became racist and bigoted accusations,
all sorts of words have been labeled “code words”.

      >Mark Twain even got edited. –gasp!
