Good news from Joe Biden: New gun regs won’t do anything to stop gun violence

At least he’s being (somewhat) honest:

Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged that new gun laws would not “fundamentally alter” the likelihood of another mass shooting, though he insisted there has been a “sea change” in American views on guns in the wake of Newtown.

“Nothing we’re going to do is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting or guarantee that we will bring gun deaths down to 1,000 a year from what it is now,” Biden told reporters Thursday afternoon after he spent over an hour lunching with Democratic senators at the Capitol.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Is the cheese starting to slip off the crackers !

Last week the gun confusers in the media and Washington’s finest were on the warpath against guns. Everyone who owned a gun was a Rambo or weirdo running around with a gun hidden in their pocket. Just waiting for the right time to commit murders BY THE THOUSANDS !

After spending some time reading the media rants against guns and some of the Washington’s finest career politicians transferring the blame to a inanimate object I came away thinking that their solutions were a sad statement for people claiming to be intelligent or informed. After all, using the murder of students to justify gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars or blaming a spoon for making people fat.

The next thing you hear was that the Presidents home town of Chicago, land of some of the most stringent gun control laws in the country, was setting new records for the number of people killed by guns in the month of January. According to the Chicago media most of the murders are committed by gangs. The rigid gun laws have basically taken away the ability of law abiding citizens to defend themselves. The gangs know that.

Just when I thought that Washington’s finest had reached another low they came up with something even stranger. This week media (and Washington’s finest) are up in arms about guns again! This time they are for them. Hey, I’m not making this stuff up!

    The media i

I have only seen reference to the court decision in one opinion article, Warren v. District of Columbia. The ramifications of the decision only strengthen my support of the second amendment. The decision states that in civil matters the police have no responsibility to protect the individual. Not that our brave and selfless law enforcement personnel would not willingly put their lives on the line, but the point is they don’t have to. So those who believe that we can supplant the second amendment with 911 should consider that even the courts of the United States state that you as an individual are not entitled to protection from those who respond to your call.

** and we were told Sarah Palin wasn’t smart enough to be a vice-president…

Ironically, Joe Biden proves that stupid people can try to take our freedom if they have power.

The rest of us – those of us who have a functioning synapse or two – know the truth:

Larry Correia refutes the gun controllers, once and for all
