In the Mid 60′s A few Company’s Popped up to supply Fire Arms collectors with Non Functioning “Replicas ” Fire Arms. These guns had most of the moving parts and looked just like the real thing to a point that they were often used as Props for the movie studios.
Then came the Air Soft generation of guns that except for there Day Glow Orange Muzzle looked exactly like the real Deal except they fired a soft Foam Peanut, the kind your Granny would say “That would put your Eye out” but never could.
These are the “Toys” that were the intended target of the “No simulation of a Gun ” WERE INTENDED ,not anything with a Pistol Grip or a peace of paper cut in the shape of the number “7″ or a pointed finger or a Hello Kitty Bubble maker or a **** Dryer .
The intention was made out of Fear that an over Zealot law enforcement officer would mistake the copy . It should be pointed out that These Zealots that are “Miss Using ,Miss interpreting these common sense restrictions and should be removed from there positions of authority and made to experience there Own Nonsense and the financial burden of there Literal Translation of a simple rule. I suggest that they should be required to place “trigger locks” on every item they posses that in there Wee Minds are perceived as a weapon , **** Dryers and Dust Busters.
