Huntsman calls Rove ‘yesterday’s ballgame’

Karl Rove has drawn a decent amount of criticism for establishing a project that’s meant to weed out unelectable Republicans in primaries across the nation.

Jon Huntsman, who may or may not be considered “unelectable” (all we know is that he lost the GOP presidential primary) doesn’t really care, but thinks Rove is irrelevant.

“Rove can do whatever he wants. I think he’s kind of yesterday’s ballgame,” Huntsman told Bloomberg TV. “But I think Republicans need to focus, first and foremost, on big ideas. Ideas are going to drive people. People are then going to elect the leaders of tomorrow…That’s politics, you know? Politics isn’t going to win the elections for us. It’s not — it’s not about people. It’s about ideas. And the ideas are going to drive people to victory. We don’t have any ideas now that are big enough and bold enough and visionary enough for most Americans to say, ‘I like that, I want to sign on, and I want that person to lead me to the future.’”

Please, help us all. Huntsman is sooo irrelevant it’s pathetic. And he thinks he’s still something. This guy is a wanna be liberal in sheeps clothing. He’s an idiot. He’s a republican version of Obama. He’d do well to be more like his father.

Big Ideas? people don’t want “big ideas” from government– we’re past that– we want “stuff”– free stuff and lots of it.. We The People are far too stupid to appreciate “Big Ideas” we are to busy fight’n with “baby daddy” and collecting our “free stuff”– now, stop bothering me– I have to watch Buck Wild and Baby Boo-Boo— and don’t even think about expecting me to use my head this sunday,,, Walking Dead comes back on!!!

What Big Ideas? What’s Huntsman talking about? I always thought that Life, Liberty and the Freedom to Pursue Happiness and own property were pretty big ideas. As reported in the Ogden Standard Examiner a few days after Hunstman won his last election as Utah Governor his Big Ideas were 1) Carbon taxes for Utah businesses so that our unemployment would go up and we could spend more on welfare, 2) Make it easier and cheaper for drunken tourists to weave down our canyons from the ski resorts and 3) Socialize medicine. Boy, does that make me want to hear more from Huntsman and his Big Ideas.
