Sheila Jackson Lee ‘working on behalf’ of her constituents by being seen on TV during SOTU

The National Journal reports that some lawmakers wait up to 12 hours to secure an aisle seat for the State of the Union address. A coveted aisle seat lends opportunity for congressmen to be seen on national TV glad-handing the president when he enters the House.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) is notorious for making sure she gets a seat in the aisle. But for her, it’s a selfless act, she says:

“I’m always working on behalf of my constituents,” said Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee, D-Texas, when asked why she stakes out an aisle seat each year. “I am working on their behalf, and they are seeing me work on their behalf. Many of them are moved by the moment.”

I don’t know her, but I won’t be watching the pres’ speech tomorrow night. I prefer to listen to the media talk about what he said for several days afterward. He comes across as insincere, a liar, and so narcissistic and self righteous it turns my stomach to actually watch him. I do not like feeling this way, I did give him the benefit of the doubt and had high hopes for him 4 yrs. ago. Oh, well.

Wow, Weird. Right as read this blog; I had my own moment of movement by thinking of this moment in my head. I just hope none of my constituents…I mean my kids think I am doing this on purpose. Certainly not on their behalf. HeHe, Purely selfless act.

  She’s the one. She’s also the one who said it was racist there aren’t more “black” names for hurricanes and this gem:
  
  “And let’s think about moving into 2013, how we make this economy better by looking carefully at how we reform entitlements that are not handouts but they are earned.”

  No she does not dress like a rodeo clown…that rodeo clown Congresswoman is from Florida…Shelia Jackson Lee is from the 3rd Ward in Houston Texas…..and of course the 3rd Ward is Houston’s perennial ghetto…and of course…..it has a black liberal Democrat like her representing the entire hot broke a$$ mess. Sheila Jackson Lee is easy to spot though…she always has her **** hidden by one or more preposterously pompous wigs….the kind that look like brunette versions of the kind of wigs that George Washington wore. We never ever see her regular ****….because it reminds her of her constituents ****…and she is far superior to her constituents…..just ask her.
