Posted on February 18, 2013 at 4:41pmWhat a waste of a story. The average user does not smoke anywhere near .9 grams of weed at once, that amount is equal to about three street joints. I smoke about 1/6th of that (one half of one joint) in a normal setting so getting people way more stoned than they normally would be then observing the results does absolutely no good when it comes to a scientific study. If you took a person who drinks beer occasionally and then gave them 6x’s the amount that is normally used what results do you think you would come up with. If you notice in the story when only given .3 grams they all did fine and that is still twice the amount I use in a normal setting and I have been a regular smoker for 30 years.

Posted on February 18, 2013 at 4:03pmHey CNN!! Are you SURE??? I mean, who would have thought that driving impaired (no matter what the drug) is dangerous??? I mean, I NEVER would have realized… Man, next you’ll tell me to stop drinking that 5th of Bacardi and take my blindfold off before I next get behind the wheel.
I blazed in my time (and occasionally still do), but I ALWAYS made sure to wait until I am at home with no intention of going ANYWHERE else for the rest of the day…
It doesn’t take a genius to realize this, nor does it require ANY kind of formal study… it is common sense… Driving is dangerous normally (as you don’t know what other crazy drivers will do) and doesn’t need to be made any more dangerous by adding drugs into the mix…
And I have heard my fellow smokers make the argument that they NEVER have a problem smoking and driving and that they are better under the influence, to which I ALWAYS call b.s., its not that you don’t make mistakes while high, you just don’t notice them. I tell them that they have just been lucky so far, and that pushing that luck any further is ill-advised..
You can impart knowledge to others, but it only becomes wisdom if they fallow the good advice.
