Current TV host says Al Jazeera is ‘creating lots and lots of jobs’
John Fugelsang, who hosts Current TV’s Viewpoint, defended Qatar-based news network Al Jazeera from Fox News last night. Current was recently sold to Al Jazeera.
“Megyn Kelly. How can someone so smart and so pretty have a show that’s so stupid and so ugly?” Fugelsang said after playing a clip of Fox anchor Megyn Kelly, who said that Al Jazeera was “anti-American.”
Fugelsang went on to say that Al Jazeera is “doing something the GOP seemingly can’t do…: They’re creating lots and lots of jobs for Americans.”
