  This definitely takes the cake as the dumbest thing Biden has ever said, at least that I’ve ever heard. Warning shots are negligent at best.

  Ultimately, it’s absolutely no one’s business what you choose to use to defend yourself and defend your family. Shotgun? Great. AR15? Even better! Self defense is a “job”. It’s a job you hope you never have to do, and if you’re faced with it, it’s a job you damn well better do your best at and win with overwhelming success, because the alternative isn’t acceptable. Just like any job, there are different tools. You want the right tools, and the most EFFECTIVE tools for that job. Higher capacity magazines, bigger guns (rifle) are generally a much more effective tool for that job.

  The real problem is that gun control advocates refuse to admit that it is in fact alright, and is actually righteous when an innocent person defends themselves. To the gun control advocate, even if an innocent person is being threatened and defends themselves, the innocent person still used violence, and the gun control advocate refuses to distinguish between violence by criminal against innocents versus violence by an innocent person that is defending themselves. They are not equal. Self defense is righteous, and nothing to be ashamed of. Until we help people understand that some violence is okay (self defense), we are not going to be gaining much ground.

  I’ll take one in the 7.62 version if they ever bother to make one.

  The prices of these weapons already keeps them out of reach of a lot people. Always have your weapon checked by a gun smith (yeah get to know one) and NEVER fire a weapon without cleaning it, especially a new one since shooting a weapon that has shipping grease can damage your expensive purchase, whether it is a pistol or a rifle.

  Never fire a weapon before getting training from somebody that know what they are doing, preferably a gun smith or someone highly recommended by them. If someone can’t show you how to take apart your weapon and clean it, they don’t know what they are doing.

  Lots of free safety tips out there, please use them wisely.

  must of not watched Clint Eastwoods movie “The Unforgiven” where one of the rounds misfired, did you see the look on Eastwoods face and how happy Lil Bill the bad sheriff was when it misfired. But did you notice Clint just didnt go in with a shotgun, he was packing extra fire power with no misfire, just like Joes secret service does. Its obvious also that Joe doesn trust his secret service advicing his wife to buy a shotgun.

  Does Joe want us all to have 12 Ga. shotguns in the house for those deranges crazies to steal. Yes, steal. If intruder forces an owner to open the gun safe under threat of death, they can still get them.
  1) A shotgun will do infinitely more damage in a mass shooting than a little .223 cal. ‘assault weapon’.
  2) If an average size woman fires a 12 Ga. shot gun, she will most likely be knocked down herself and be very reluctant to ever fire it again. Any hesitation at short range (ie in the same room) is likely to fatal to her.

  Joe, suggest you order Secrete Service security detail to divest themselves of their hand guns and replace same with shotguns that only carry two rounds. Also perhaps in the interest of saving the USA money, cut the security detail down to two people…..but of course since you are charging the taxpayers rent for the quarters the Security details uses at your home, you are not interested in saving the taxpayers any money.

  Joe, I agree have a shotgun. A pump or semi auto with at least 6 or even 8 shots. When the perp thug comes to the house and breaks in, my wife or daughters (with their own separate guns from Moms) the first two shots will be in the torso area and the next one will be to the head. If more then one perp enters the home then this exercise is to be repeated until the threat is resolved. Also in addition to the shotguns there will be multiple pistols for back up in case more firepower is necessary. Joe, You never in a self defense situation show up with just two shots. You sir are an idiot !!!
