Obama will not be calling Kim Jong-un, even if Dennis Rodman wants him to

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said today that the White House will be ignoring comments made on ABC’s This Week Sunday by former NBA player Dennis Rodman.

From an AP report:

Upon his return to the U.S., [former NBA player Dennis] Rodman said Kim wants President Barack Obama to call him. Carney says the U.S. already has direct channels of communication to North Korea’s government and those are the channels it will continue to use.
