More reporters come forward with complaints of White House abuse

While Bob Woodward is being dragged across the coals by the liberal left after publicly acknowledging “threats” from the Obama White House, more reporters are coming forward to corroborate his story.

Via the NYPost (an article aptly titled “Beat The Press”):

Finally, this week, reporters are pushing back. Even Jonathan Alter — who frequently appears on the Obama-friendly MSNBC — came forward to say he, too, had been treated horribly by the administration for writing something they didn’t like.

“There is a kind of threatening tone that, from time to time — not all the time — comes out of these guys,” Alter said this week. During the 2008 campaign swing through Berlin, Alter said that future White House press secretary Robert Gibbs disinvited him from a dinner between Obama and the press corps over it.

“I was told ‘Don’t come,’ in a fairly abusive e-mail,” he said. “[It] made what Gene Sperling wrote [to Woodward] look like patty-cake.”

“I had a young reporter asking tough, important questions of an Obama Cabinet secretary,” says one DC veteran. “She was doing her job, and they were trying to bully her. In an e-mail, they called her the vilest names — bitch, c–t, a–hole.” He complained and was told the matter would be investigated: “They were hemming and hawing, saying, ‘We’ll look into it.’ Nothing happened.”

    These reporters are finally feeling the stresses and pangs that all of us in the field have felt… they finally are being ousted. However, it still is saddening that the journalistic community has lost their right to spread news and use freedom of speech with no backlash. Our country seems to be turning into a Socialistic society very quickly. Soon we will not be able to break news on anything without a threat or injury.

    oh gosh. Reporters are being threatened by the Obama White House for saying something unflattering about the POTUS, the Messiah, the Anointed One, JC Himself? Oh my gosh. Is their sickening little LOVE AFFAIR with Barry finally coming to an end? I feel so sorry for them. I feel so bad for their little breakup with their little boyfriend Barry. Oh my gosh. Where can I cry a river for these reporters who didn’t have access to BArry while he golfed with Tiger Woods? They make their “bread and butter” by kissing Barry’s ass night and day? They didn’t have access to his ass for a day? Oh my gosh. Where can I complain too? Well. I will just pray for you okay? I will just pray you can get all the Barry ass and more for your articles so you can keep making your Mercedes or BMW payment cause I certainly wouldn’t want anything to happen to your precious income now would I? OH no. I want you to have the BEST bread and butter in America cause after all you get to be in the “presence” of the almighty one day and night while us turds and peasants and low life have to wait on counters and pick up garbage and diaper babies and make coffee all day long. But I will pray for you okay cause you sound so threatened? Oh wait! Was that a drone that just flew by your window? Let me say a bunch or Hail Mary’s for you okay? I will rub my statue of St. Joseph for good luck for you too, okay? Sorry you are so “hurt” by the White House not letting you smooch Barry **** all day.
