Liberal Washington Post columnist: ‘Rand Paul was right’
Eugene Robinson, MSNBC contributor and liberal columnist for the Washington Post, stands with Rand.
He writes in the Post today:
Rand Paul was right. There, I said it. …
Was he trying to boost his national profile? Was he trying to embarrass President Obama? The answer is probably yes on both counts. But I cannot argue with the basic point Paul was making: There must be greater clarity about how and where our government believes it has the authority to use drones as instruments of assassination, especially when U.S. citizens are in the cross hairs.
Editors at the vastly more conservative Wall Street Journal weren’t as generous with Sen. Rand Paul‘s 13-hour filibustering of John Brennan, now-confirmed nominee for CIA director. An editorial yesterday said… “if Mr. Paul wants to be taken seriously … he needs to do more than pull political stunts that fire up impressionable libertarian kids in their college dorms.”
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Posted on March 9, 2013 at 11:06amI have liberal family and friends that have opposed the drone strikes from the beginning and were vocal when Pres. Bush did it, but felt they had to mute that opposition for Pres. Obama. I can now see a lot of those same people taking a closer more educated look at Sen. Paul when the next elections come around rather than just drinking the MSM koolaid.
