Sarah Palin is writing a Christmas book

Associated Press reports:

The former Republican vice presidential candidate has a deal with HarperCollins for “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas,” scheduled for November. HarperCollins announced Monday the book will criticize the “over-commercialism” and “homogenization” of Christmas and call for a renewed emphasis on the religious importance.

“This will be a fun, festive, thought provoking book,” Palin said in a release from HarperCollins, “which will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas.”

I thought she was writing a fitness book? What happened to that or was that just another attention getter. She doesn’t get much anymore since she is out at fox.

Why Sarah? Why are you doing this kind of book? Now, with our 12th amendment under bayonettes’ attack by the O-drones. That topic has been previewed, reviewed and again renewed every year after every Thanksgiving for the last thirty years.

I love Sarah, hope for her continued involvement in our cultural discussions and occasional political ressurgences as needed, but seems to me, she is still shopping around for a new cause or vehicle for marketing. No sin in that, of course. Sarah is smart but stubborn and probably won’t listen to anyone’s advice on short term goals. Ask Ailes about how stubborn and outright rebellious she can be. To me, though, it’s like having Norman Rockwell producing a second portfolio of ball point pen stick figures, something any Christian could do. Oh well, Sarah has time on her side. In political years, she’s still in her youth.

Off Topic”I could swear (not really swear-swear) that around Election Day Nov. 6th, 2012, I am sure I saw a report of a way too thin Sarah walking to the mall in some black jeans. At that time, she was talking about writing a diet book. What became of that? or is she multi-tasking? I still have faith in Sarah. I cannot imagine how she withstood all the mean attacks that continue unabated to this day. Love Ya, Sister Sarah!

Read this after I posted mine. I think she is paying a bit of a price for being rebellious and in some cases not too bright.

Sounds interesting, I look forward to reading the Governor’s perspective on this.
