Obama blames Secret Service for cancelled WH tours

Four days after shuttering the White House to the public to cut costs, President Obama says he’s asking the U.S. Secret Service about the possibility of resuming tours for school groups, which have begun descending on the nation’s capital for spring break.

“What I’m asking them is are there ways, for example, for us to accommodate school groups … who may have traveled here with some bake sales,” Obama told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in an interview on “Good Morning America.” “Can we make sure that kids, potentially, can still come to tour?”

Obama’s comments suggested, contrary to previous statements by the administration, that the decision to scrap the tours fell solely to the Secret Service.

“I have to say this was not a decision that went up to the White House,” Obama said in the interview. “But what the Secret Service explained to us was that they’re going to have to furlough some folks.

“The question for them is, you know, how deeply do they have to furlough their staff and is it worth it to make sure that we’ve got White House tours that means that you got a whole bunch of families who are depending on a paycheck, who suddenly are seeing a 5 percent or 10 percent reduction in their pay,” he said.

Aaaand, as one who never passes an opportunity for media attention, it’s Donald Trump to the rescue. Trump has offered to personally donate the estimated $18,000/week to keep the White House open for tours — an offer the Obama administration quickly rebuked:

Let’s put this in perspective. If the President’s wedding had to be canceled because the caterer had lost several employees and no longer had the staff to provide food for the reception, would the President say the caterer had canceled the wedding?

They have to come up with the children’ s being miserable parks White house tours we are the infidels how dare you ask them to see the house that the tax payers pay for? as they say how much they care. They cut not 1 penny of there fat checks. By the way about gun control Did’nt they give planes and money for weapons to the brother hood where is the brotherhoods mental evaluation . They say some in the U.S.are crazy but they give this stuff to morsi and Imanutjob creep. There like friends now. How nice. If they can have weapons then any1 in America should have 1 if they want 1 it is our constitutional rights. by the way should’nt al gore be put away for talking so nice about al jezeera t.v. and shame on any network that puts it on.   My wife and I just said the very same thing…. However, we don’t give this little jerk credit for being that smart. There’s someone else behind all of this besides Hussein Obama the muslim. America is being systematically overrun by the communist agenda and American, while fighting among themselves, are just ignoring it and letting it happen. “WE HAVE MET THE ENEMY AND HE IS US…”

He’s not responsible for this (even though he has ultimate say for what happens at the White House). He’s not responsible for the sequester (even though he came up with the idea). He is not responsible for the state of the economy (even though he has had 4 years to affect it). He is not responsible for blacks having almost 2 times the rate of unemployment. He is not responsible for our huge debt. And the dog ate his homework.

I could go on and on, but I think you see my point. Obama is the Irresponsible President.

My kids claim they are irresponsible, but they are just babies when they do that.
