Gothamist has compiled a remarkable collection of 14 nerve-wracking photos from high atop New York City skyscrapers under construction.

This one, dubbed Lunch Atop a Skyscraper, was taken in 1932 and became one of the most iconic images of NYC’s vertical expansion:

    THEY REALLY BUILT AMERICA,they may also fought to keep america free,and would have killed the communist we now have in govt.?that was before POLITICAL CORRECTNESS CASTRATION WAS INSTITUTED BY COMMUNISTS??
