History Channel regrets ‘unfortunate’ Obama-Satan comparisons

Apparently the cable network regretted the internet’s comparison of “The Bible” character of Satan and the commander in chief so much, they felt the need to issue an official statement:

“History channel has the highest respect for President Obama,” a statement from the History channel read. “The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It’s unfortunate that anyone made this false connection. History’s ‘The Bible’ is meant to enlighten people on its rich stories and deep history.”

“This is utter nonsense,” Burnett said. “The actor who played Satan, Mehdi Ouzaani, is a highly acclaimed Moroccan actor. He has previously played parts in several Biblical epics — including Satanic characters long before Barack Obama was elected as our President.”

“Both Mark and I have nothing but respect and love our President, who is a fellow Christian,” Downey added. “False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of The Bible.”

I just lost respect for Mark Burnett and Roma Downey.
“They have nothing but love and respect for the president who is a fellow Christian?”
Well, if they actually believe that statement then, they are fools. If they don’t believe that statement then, they are liars.
Both are bad.
I’ll still watch the final episode of The Bible though.

Memo to the Secret Service: It was not I who strongly suggested that President Barack Hussein Obama was in fact the incarnation of the Devil, aka Beelzebub, Lucifer, Mephistopheles, Prince of Darkness, Satan, et al.

In view of his Herod-like advocacy for murdering innocent, pre-born human beings, his endorsement of the abomination of men marrying other men and women wedding other women, his ongoing campaign against Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular, his refusal to acknowledge the given that America is a Christian nation blessed by God, I have long thought he had to be satanic but I hadn’t the temerity to publicly reveal that Obama was the incarnation of the Devil.

So, Secret Service agents, don’t come after me. Go after the History cable channel!

In the third installment of its interpretation of “The Bible,” History depicted the temptations of Jesus Christ by the devil after Jesus had fasted for forty days and nights in the Judaean Desert and showed how He resisted those temptations. Many have noticed the remarkable similarities between Obama and actor Mehdi Ouzaani who portrayed the devil.

Far be it for me to suggest the very PC History channel was making a political statement, an indictment of the devilish propensities of the president of the United States, by casting Ouzaani as an Obama look-a-like. Most likely, someone screwed up and “The Bible” casting director will be banished to the entertainment desert for slanderin

Seems to me this is just a Chicago tactic to clamp down on freedom of expression. How soon before the History Channel pulls the show or the producers wind up getting perp walked like that guy with the muhammed video? Then again, some people say Art imitates Life.

Sorry, i don’t even see any resemblance. Since the ratings are blowing everyone away and it’s hard to criticize this program, the “media” people had to come up with SOMETHING to criticize. What a stupid claim made by fools.

It was an unfortunate coincidence and, Ok I have to admit I got a chuckle out of it. But as a viewer I never once thought this was done intentionally. I love some of the stuff the History Channel has done lately. I hope they continue……..MSSMUG

What the History Channel/Roma Downey and Mark Burnett Really Wanted to Say:

“Hello fellow Americans. yeah. We did it on purpose. We hired this Moroccan actor cause when he came in for the part of Satan all in costume, well, dam! He looked just like Barack Obama and we could not believe it, ya know? I mean. We really think Barack Obama is Satan, the Devil, Beelzebub and the Anti Christ all rolled into one but that would be so PC Incorrect and that would cut into our huge bag of money and lavish Hollywood lifestyle and, well, ya know, hell no! We ain’t gonna let that happen. So, like, uh, yeah, we had to write all this bull spit up above about how “Obama is a Christian” and all this other bull spit, and you now, we had to say that, cause like, we, as the Hollywood crowd have to, ya know, suck it up, okay? And like all that “respect” for Obama is total bull spit too. We actually despise him. Like all of you. But, like, yeah, we gotta keep up that “love your neighbor” crap for the ratings, like, ya know? and peace, love, tolerance and let’s all just get along okay? Thanks for tuning in cause we are rolling in the dough and Hawaiian Easter Vacation for us and our kids here we come! You all understand about money and cheap grace right? Truly my fellow CHRISTian’s i’m not even close to being perfect but we are to judge not lest ye be judged we all fail at this on a daily basis, And please remember as CHRISTian’s we 1st should know that satan never show’s his true face because he also know’s HE IS NOT GOD ALMIGHTY
This i say to all people’s we as human’s including Mr. Obama if our heart is not true it’s not man you will deal with on judgement day, so compare only what you know to be true in YOU !!

Downey claims that the prez is a Christian ? This is based on what ? The prez calling himself a Christian , or is there any evidence that Downey would point to , as showing that the prez , is indeed a Christian ? The Bible states that a tree is known by its fruit ; if so what fruit does the prez show ? Is the fruit showing decay before it even ripens ?
