A friendly reminder: It’s never too late to ask for forgiveness

I never get tired of posting stories about people who do the right thing. In the struggles of others, we can often learn a lot about ourselves.

Take, for instance, this story out of Michigan. Whenever you think it’s “too late” to make amends, consider this:

A person who claims to have stolen $800 from a Barry County store about 30 years ago has repaid the money in cash — with interest.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

As a rather poor college student, i worked at a 7-11 and took some things from the store…after feeling guilty about it for over 20 years, I broke down and fessed up to 7-11, wrote them a letter, signed and and sent them a check for the amount I felt I owed them…I received a nice letter back from them saying they donated my check to a charitable organization

It was minor , but what a relief it was. I felt like a huge burden was lifted from my shoulders and I could once again go into a 7-11 for a big gulp without feeling guilty…(except of course in NYC)

For everyone who is burdened by something like this…try it…you’ll like it…!

I’m really beginning to understand the benefits of confession, repentence & absolution. I know I still feel bad about lying to the policeman about not knowing that a bulb was burnt out on my truck, I should have just said, I know I have the bulb but haven’t gotten around to putting it in. It is such a silly thing to have to waste energy on!

THAT is very sweet of the guilty. Whatever they’ve been dealing with, that elephant has left the building!
