If you’re putting your Christmas (or any other holiday) greeting cards in the mail this week, think about including a couple of extras for some of our veterans.
The Honor Flight Network is doing its part, and Bill Krzyk of Honor Flight Myrtle Beach is asking for your help:
Mr. Calvin Harrison, a 91-year-old US Navy veteran of WWII, is terminally ill and feeling a bit forgotten and very much “down” during this (and most probably his final) holiday season. Mr. Harrison is in Hospice care in Florence, South Carolina.
PLEASE consider sending a card to Mr. Harrison:
Mr. Calvin Harrison
c/o Hospice Care of Tri-County
1402 South Meadows Farm Rd #D
Florence, S.C. 29505
The Honor Flight crew is also collecting cards to hand out to residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C. If you can get your card to them by Friday, Dec. 20, they will deliver it to a deserving veteran of our armed forces.
If you’re interested in pitching in some holiday cheer, address these cards to:
