News, possibly good and possibly bad, from Politico’s Playbook:
Sen. Rand Paul will announce on Facebook today that he’s joining Snapchat, the disappearing-photo service that has become one of the most popular social-messaging platforms for young people. His handle will be SenatorRandPaul, and he plans to send his first snap tonight.
To recap: a high-profile member of Congress will now be using a social media tool that allows him to take photos, edit those photos and send them out to people, all with the peace of mind that those photos will only be available (theoretically) to the viewers for only up to 10 seconds.
What could go wrong?
