From a White House pool report on President Obama‘s speech Friday regarding changes to the National Security Agency:
Following the speech, POTUS went to a conference room where he greeted an overflow room of about 100 Justice Department employees. He thanked them for their service (“a lot of lawyers in this town put in a lot of hours but they get paid better than you all do”) and he noted, “I see your work product each and every day.”
“I hope that I have the occasion to meet some of you…but hopefully not when I’m in trouble,” he said to laughter.
He then shook several hands. … POTUS could be heard saying, “My hands are cold. There’s a good air conditioner in here.”
