Blaze Books recently completed a series on how Iva Toguri (aka Tokyo Rose), the focus of chapter 9 of Glenn Beck’s latest “Miracles and Massacres,” came to be pardoned by Gerald Ford almost three decades after being wrongfully convicted of treason for her activities during World War II.

Our series (links below) was framed around an interview we conducted with Ronald Yates, the journalist who conducted the investigative work over multiple decades that led to a series of articles in 1976 that helped prove Toguri’s innocence and gain her the pardon.

Last night, Yates appeared on TheBlaze TV’s Wilkow! to discuss his story.
