“I’m conservative…I’m a freethinker, and I love my country,” says author Deneen Borelli. “Yes, I’m also black, but that fact has nothing to do with my belief in limited government…Nobody wants to be told they’re racist simply because they are too conservative to buy into Obama’s policies. People are too nervous to speak out, so I’m speaking out for them.”
And does she ever.
Borelli—one of the most visible conservative black voices on major cable news programs and in daily newspapers—calls them as she sees them in Blacklash, doling out demerits for Obama and left-wingers who overplay the race card but turn a blind eye toward black leaders who’ve made livings off their communities’ collective misery. Borelli also slays the NAACP, calling it a “liberal front group,” as well as ObamaCare, “green” initiatives, big government, overregulation, unions, special interest groups, and the progressive agenda. Her unique story and perspective should embolden all those who’ve had it with Obama and the liberal machine.
