We, as a country, regardless of political affiliations, must feel outraged by the government’s actions

The last ten years have been relatively secure in the U.S. This has lulled Americans into a false sense of security. But our government should know better.

If prominent satirists are now afraid to make fun of powerful politicians, our American Republic is in trouble, and it’s no laughing matter. 

The only way.

The disturbing murder trial has reignited a culture war, putting pro-choice forces on the defensive.

Authoritarian statists despise the Bill of Rights because of the plainness of its language and the clarity of its intent; it’s meant to protect us from them. 

Conservatives must make sure that Republicans don’t bail him out by bestowing him with legislative victories on big government initiatives 

Missing from this debate, as is the case every time one of these abuse of power scandals breaks out, is a serious discussion about the power itself.

It’s a crisis of trust that only engaged citizens can combat – but will they?

If Obama was the CEO of a corporation and he learned of a major scandal at his company through the media, what would the reaction be? 

Our government is too big and powerful, and what inevitably follows from that is what we see now: corruption.

In the U.S., thousands and thousands of citizens and internationals are unwilling participants in the perverse commerce of sex slavery and forced labor. Worldwide, the United Nations cites estimates as high as 27 million.

In an era when most black votes in the South were suppressed, other observers felt Coolidge might have, indeed, received more—and he deserved them.

With Detroit’s example in mind, it’s worth asking what changes the 21st Century might bring, and how they might impact the global, U.S. and NYC economies.  

What we need today, they believe, is not good government, but effective government. 

The irony is that while farms enjoy record incomes, they are pushing for more subsidies and more cheap labor. While Congress is heeding the calls of the parochial interest, we must ensure that they hear from We the People.

 This will grow into one of the biggest scandals in U.S. political history- if the media does their job. 

 Men who have sworn to never leave a fallen comrade behind were forced to do just that by the military leaders they trust their lives to.

Make no mistake about it: these types of audits will happen all across the country.

Predictably, the feds have fallen into the trap, confusing an exercise in political theater for a bona fide threat.
