It's Time For Israel To Defend Itself

Israel cannot wait for help from the U.S. or any other country - they need to take drastic action to defend themselves.

The world hates Israel; plain and simple.

America (the current government) hates Israel. The media (CNN, MSNBC, BBC) hates Israel. If Israel does nothing, they are hated. If they have a "moderate" response, they are hated. If they have a serious response (Operation Cast Lead, Operation Grapes of Wrath, Operation Defensive Shield, etc) they are hated.

It is only logical for Israel to understand that no matter what they do, the result is the same, so they should do what will be MOST beneficial to them.

I've said it before, and I will say it again: After 60 years of hell, with no sign of it going away, Israel has a responsibility to protect her citizens. Their danger zone lies in Hamas and the West Bank. Peace talks have failed not because of the "agreement" terms, but because one side has zero desire for a walking, breathing Jew to exist. This simply is something that is non-negotiable. You can NOT negotiate with cancer under any terms.

A look back at history - documenting all the terrorist attacks in Israel at the hands of a group hell-bent on destroying Israel - would require chapters which I think might turn this article into a book. However, just to look at a few makes my conclusion a justifiable and acceptable point of view.

One of countless attacks documented in 2001 included a double suicide bombing at the Ben-Yehuda pedestrian mall in Jerusalem that killed 11 people, aged 12 to 21, and injured 188 people. A car bomb exploded 20 minutes later. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

The very next day, on Dec. 2, 2001, a suicide bombing on a bus in Haifa killed 15 people and injured about 40 people. Hamas claimed responsibility for the Haifa blast, while Hezbullah's radio and television stations expressed support for the attacks.

Ten years later, on Aug. 31, 2010, four Israelis, including a pregnant woman, were murdered when terrorists ambushed their car as they were driving near Kiryat Arba in the West Bank. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, which coincided with the restarting of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in Washington, D.C.

As you can see, the hate remains the same, the devastation remains the same, the only thing that changes is the decade.

Why can’t the world understand - or Israel for that matter - that these monsters are not doing this to push Israel into declaring a two-state solution? They are doing this to push Israel into the second holocaust. It scares me half to death that this reality is so hard to comprehend by civilized nations, for if it were to happen to them or their territories, they would be involved in a full state of war. However, they are first to tell Israel to never mind the past, and just give up, something they would never do themselves.

The irony is that most of the technologies which all these nations enjoy were started by Israeli companies. Of course, you would never hear these words of praise, nor would you expect these opinionated nations to live without the cell phones, voice-over internet, medications, the first electric hair remover, the steel security door, and the Intel Chip and Sandisk USB flash memory drive. You won’t hear about these things; only that Israel should allow itself to be pushed into extinction. Disgusting.

I wish we had an American president that would get up on the world stage and demand that this twilight zone we live in is banished and allow the reality to sink in. Instead we have a man who blamed the security fence Israel erected around the West Bank to keep terrorists out as the cause for their frustrations which leads to more hate and instability. (Instability somehow means terrorism to President Barack Obama). He criticized the security fence built by Israel to prevent terror attacks: "The creation of a wall dividing the two nations is yet another example of the neglect of this administration in brokering peace."

The ONLY solution after 60 years of hell, 60 years of terrorism, 60 years of lies and innocent slaughter, is for Israel to stand up with their air force, like America did to end World War II. Load their planes with non-nuclear bombs of the highest grade, size, potency, and effectiveness. Graph out Gaza and the West Bank. Go on TV and give the terrorists one final chance to put their weapons down. Make it clear that the next incursion will result in complete and total annihilation... and then wait.

Hopefully, the Palestinians will understand what it means to love their children more than they hate the Jews. On that day there can be peace. If they don't understand this - and take one more life, shoot one more rocket, lob one more stone at the Israel Defense Forces - you move forward with "Operation Final Battle" and drop the bombs. Not one, not two, but as many as it takes to reduce the ENTIRE two cities to the ground. America did it to Japan and the results saved millions of lives. It also made the Soviets know we meant business and were not going to tolerate injustice or confrontation. In Israel’s case, they would be sending a clear message to those willing to launch attcks, and in today’s day, with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on the move, it would be a good method of demonstrating air superiority.

After the debate stops, and the anger has died down, if Israel wants to negotiate with Hamas – they will, but at their own risk of peril. History has proven before that sometimes, negotiations just don’t cut it, as seen when British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain tried to make peace with Adolf Hitler. Sometimes - as much as you hate to admit it or agree with me - the only solution is to introduce your enemy to Satan himself.

In the Hebrew language, there is something everyone should learn. There is a noted difference in how we refer to animals. There are “Chayot” and there are “Behemoth.” Chayot (pronounced HAH YOT) are domesticated, trained animals such as dogs, cats, a parakeet, perhaps pets living in the family house who you love and cherish because of their loving characteristics and traits. On the flip side, there are Behemoth, also animals by definition, but categorized as untamed beasts who you can’t trust to act in a dignified fashion, such as a lion or elephant or rhinoceros. You can usually manage a sweet group of Chayot, but if you attempt to dominate Behemoth, you are going to regret it later. Hamas has demonstrated this quality, and nothing short of a miracle is going to change that.

May God bless Israel, their The Prime Minister of Israel, and their Foreign Affairs Minister of Israel, Avigdor Liberman - אביגדור ליברמן and give them the courage to come to the same solution as millions of Americans including myself feel is the only way to preserve our Jewish homeland should the rest of the world fall apart.
