Rep. Steve Stockman Says He'll Fight Obama Until He Can't Fight Anymore
September 19, 2013
One Texas representative in Congress vows to fight for the American people on Obamacare, immigration, Benghazi and Syria.
Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) warned that he would keep fighting President "Obama until I'm like Monty Python; until all my arms and legs are cut off." Stockman believes that he was sent to Congress to fight against the policies of Obama and other Democrats that are taking the country in an alarming direction. A direction, he says, reminds him "almost like the last days of Rome."
His comments came during an interview with Mallory Factor in New York City this week and at a time when Congress has several large bills to handle. Obamacare was one that Stockman focused on and said that the president was "acting like a king" by tearing up the bill but refusing to make changes when others suggest it.
Stockman also insinuated that someone in a position of authority and ambitions for higher office (hint: she was former Secretary of State and a previous first lady) has intimidated witnesses to cover-up what really happened in Benghazi. He said that witnesses failed to show for two separate Foreign Affairs Committee meetings before the August recess and warned that by not answering what happened there, it has opened America up to additional threats and attacks.
Stockman also talked about intervening in Syria and what the GOP needs to do to win in the 2014 elections. Check out the entire video below.
