Take a wild guess...
A 12-year-old girl showed up to school on Monday with a backpack full of money -- about $20,000 in cash to be exact. Police in Taylor, Mich. are now investigating where the sixth grader got that kind of money.
Officials with the Taylor School District were notified on Monday after the student apparently began giving out $100 bills to other students, WXYZ-TV reports. She reportedly gave one student $200 and another $500.
The 12-year-old girl reportedly told police that she got it from a "friend" that lives across the street in her neighborhood.
Police confiscated the money as evidence and will hold it until the rightful owners of the cash can provide an explanation of where it came from.
