Why yes, that is Sec of State Kerry fist-bumping with rapper Snoop Dogg at the 'White Hizzle

This has to be a candidate for 2013's "Instagram video you never expected to see." Secretary of State John Kerry and rapper Snoop Dogg chatting and fist-bumping at a White House Christmas party.

Of course, the clip was posted on Snoop's Instagram page and then tweeted by Snoop and actually retweeted by John Kerry on the State Department's official Twitter account.

How do we know that Kerry re-tweeted the post? It is signed "JK." And, on the State Department's official, verified Twitter feed it clearly explains, "Welcome to the official U.S. Department of State Twitter account! Tweets from Secretary Kerry are signed –JK"

Not everyone at the party appeared to be as thrilled with Snoop Dogg's presence. At one point on the short Instagram clip, the camera catches Teresa Heinz Kerry looking as if she preferred to be elsewhere. Perhaps she was looking for Justin Bieber?

The Secretary of State's wife appeared to be in good health, making what seems to be a full recovery from the seizure she suffered on July 7.
