Some Are Calling Plane Crash that Killed Bin Laden’s Relatives ‘Karma.’ Others Are Slamming that Take as Ignorant.

"Karma is a b***h."

A plane crash that killed three relatives of Osama bin Laden elicited a variety of gleeful responses on social media, including those who suggested the crash was “karma” or “ironic” given the arch-terrorist’s launching of the September 11 attacks using aircraft.

The Saudi-registered private jet on Friday crashed into a car auction site near Blackbushe Airport in the U.K. All of those onboard, including bin Laden’s stepmother, Rajaa Hashim; her daughter, Sana bin Laden; and son-in-law Zuhair Hashim were killed, the Independent reported.

Others blasted those expressing joy at the Saudi family’s misfortune, pointing out that the family disowned Osama bin Laden in 1994. Yet others noted the sheer size of the bin Laden family (the Al Qaeda founder’s father had more than 50 children) and argued that it would be unfair to blame the family for the son’s terrorist activities.

Police said the three were visiting the U.K. for vacation and that their Jordanian pilot was the fourth person killed in the crash.
