Breaking Bad' Star's Unexpected Words About Donald Trump: 'A Surprise Benefit to the Country, Actually

"I actually like his candor."

Walter White advised "tread lightly." Bryan Cranston is glad Donald Trump hasn't.

The former "Breaking Bad" star recently offered some words of praise for the combustible Republican presidential candidate.

"I actually like his candor," Cranston told Chris Hardwick on the "Nerdist" podcast. "`You're an idiot. I'm a winner, you're a loser.'"

Cranston said there's "something so refreshing about shaking up that world that is all about being handled."

"And here comes this loose cannon, who has terrible ideas and would be a horrible president, but there's something great about his 'I-don't-give-a-s**t' attitude that really kind of keeps others honest. I think it's a surprise benefit to the country, actually," the veteran actor said. "I hope he stays in for a long, long time, and just collapses that whole tent of his.”

(Content warning — though "Breaking Bad" aired on AMC, there's some HBO-sized language ahead:)
