Casey Anthony’s Lawyer Admitted Client Killed Daughter Caylee, Private Investigator Claims

It’s been more than five years since a Florida jury cleared Casey Anthony of the murder of her daughter Caylee. But new allegations have emerged after a private investigator claimed Anthony’s attorney admitted that his client killed 2-year-old Caylee and hid her body.

The accusation from Dominic Casey was recorded in court documents made public last month in Anthony's bankruptcy case, according to Fox News. He also alleged that the mother paid her lawyer in sexual favors.

Casey claimed Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, hired him onto the case days after the mom was arrested in July 2008.

"Baez had told me that Casey had murdered Caylee and dumped the body somewhere, and he needed all the help he could get to find the body before anyone else did,” Casey said.

Meter reader Roy Kronk discovered Caylee’s body in the woods near her grandparents' home December of that year. Casey claimed that before the girl’s remains were discovered, Anthony gave her legal team permission to try to frame Kronk "to portray him as a murderer and or kidnapper of Caylee Anthony."

The investigator said he left the legal team in October 2008.

Casey alleged that Anthony and her attorney were having sex because she couldn't pay him:

I arrived at Baez’s office unexpectedly one day and once again, witnessed a naked Casey. This time she ran from his private office, through the conference room to the hallway. That night I told her that she cannot allow him to continue engaging in this behavior. Casey told me she had to do what Jose said because she had no money for her defense.

Anthony was convicted of lying to police but was acquitted of murder in 2011. She filed for bankruptcy in 2013.
