Howard Dean to TheBlaze: Hillary Never Lied About Her Emails

Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton never lied about her use of a personal server or sending classified emails, 2004 presidential candidate and former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean told TheBlaze in an exclusive interview in Paris earlier this month.

"No," Dean said when asked by TheBlaze if Hillary had lied at all about her emails.

Dean was speaking in with TheBlaze on Facebook Live earlier this month following a roundtable hosted by the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

"Look, I know Hillary really well, and I know what people think about her ... and I like her a lot," said Dean. "She's funny, she likes political gossip ... she is one of the smartest people I have ever met, and she has a very high BS indicator."

"I don't think she is a liar," Dean continued. "Do I think she tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth? I don't think anybody in politics does, because the press eats you alive if you do."

Dean's comment seemed to stand in direct contradiction to several allegations FBI Director James Comey made in a news conference earlier this month in which he revealed his agency would not recommend charges against Clinton.
