Report: Anthony Weiner Sent Lewd Image While in Bed Next to His Son

“You do realize..."

Former New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner exchanged lewd messages with a woman while lounging in bed with his young son Jordan, according to the New York Post.

The Post obtained screenshots of a conversation purportedly between Weiner and a “40-something divorcee.” During their explicit conversation, the toddler crawled up next Weiner, the Post noted, prompting the disgraced onetime congressman to reportedly write, “Someone just climbed into my bed.”

Weiner then allegedly shared a vulgar image of himself with his son in the photo’s frame. According to the Post, the image “shows a bulge in his white, Jockey-brand boxer briefs and his son cuddled up to his left, wrapped in a light-green blanket.”

“You do realize you can see you[r] Weiner in that pic??” the woman replied after Weiner sent her the image.

Weiner later wrote that he was “scared” he posted the image publically.

The Post added that the woman with whom Weiner was sexting “is his polar opposite politically: a self-avowed supporter of Donald Trump and the National Rifle Association who’s used Twitter to bash both President Obama and Clinton.”

Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 following a sexting scandal while his wife, Huma Abedin, a top aide to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, was pregnant with their son. Weiner later attempted to run for mayor of New York in 2013, a bid that failed after it was discovered he was still sharing lewd images online under the pseudonym “Carlos Danger.”

Weiner's Twitter account was deactivated following the Post's report.

Abedin will reportedly separate from Weiner following his latest sexting scandal.

This post has been updated to include Abedin's statement.
