Watch: Argentina soccer fans take the field and punch referees

During the Sarmiento vs. Sansineta soccer match on Sunday in Argentina, a group of fans stormed the field and attacked the referees after a controversial call was made against Sarmiento. Sansineta scored a goal after what some fans determined was a foul which was not called against Sarmiento, and chaos ensued.

At first, a few Sarmiento players started pushing the referees over the blown call, which escalated to fans jumping onto the field to take matters into their own hands. They began punching the referees, and it continued until the referees were finally escorted off the field behind a closed fence.
