Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasn't thrilled with the United Nations' 14-0 vote for Security Council Resolution 2334, which bars the Jewish state from establishing settlements in Palestine-claimed lands — and he made that clear with a tweet Thursday afternoon.

In the tweet, the Israeli prime minister shared a short reel of clips featuring President-elect Donald Trump criticizing the U.N., adding: "I could not have said it better myself."

In the video, Trump said Israel "has been treated very, very unfairly" and accused the UN of causing problems rather than solving them.

Earlier this week, the president-elect took to Twitter to say he will not "let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect," adding that Jan. 20, Inauguration Day, is fast-approaching.

Netanyahu responded to Trump's message, thanking the billionaire businessman for his "warm friendship" and "clear-cut support for Israel."

The Israeli leader's anti-UN tweet follows a lengthy speech from outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry, who lambasted the Jewish nation for not doing more to pursue a two-state solution with Palestine.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), incoming Senate minority leader, slammed Kerry's speech for "emboldening extremists" on both sides of the debate.

"He seems to have forgotten the history of the settlements in Gaza, where the Israeli government forced settlers to withdraw from all settlements and the Palestinians responded by sending rockets into Israel," Schumer said.
