Trump downplays division over Obamacare replacement; promises GOP will 'save the day
March 13, 2017
President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday to call Obamacare a “disaster” and vowed that Republicans will “save the day” in spite of internal debate over the replacement legislation.
Trump hit the media for being “rude” to “hard working representatives” working on alternate legislation.
It is amazing how rude much of the media is to my very hard working representatives. Be nice, you will do much better!

He then said that the Affordable Care Act is “imploding” and that 2017 will be the law’s “worst year yet.”
“Republicans will come together and save the day,” Trump vowed.
ObamaCare is imploding. It is a disaster and 2017 will be the worst year yet, by far! Republicans will come together and save the day.

Last week, House Republicans unveiled their alternative — the American Health Care Act — to Obamacare. Several conservative lawmakers and groups have expressed opposition to the bill although it has the support of the White House.
Efforts to replace former President Barack Obama’s signature health care law have spurred a renewed defense of the legislation by Democratic lawmakers.
According to the Hill, the Congressional Budget Office is expected to release a score on the the American Health Care Act’s impact this week. The CBO’s report “is widely expected to be negative for the bill.”
