Donald Trump's ex-wife destroyed over inappropriate selfies at Times Square carnage scene

President Donald Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples took heavy criticism after taking photos of herself at the site of the car crash Thursday  in New York City's Times Square that killed one person and injured 22 others.

Maples documented her pilgrimage to Times Square in a series of selfies and Instagram videos, saying she was headed to the scene to "help."

“We’re at Times Square at the scene of this horrific crash,” Maples says in one video.

Reuters reported earlier in the day that a speeding vehicle lost control between 42nd and 43rd street. The driver of the vehicle crashed into a crowd of people, killing an 18-year-old girl and injuring 22 others.

It was reported that the vehicle was driving against traffic and on the sidewalk at the time of the accident.

NYPD's initial report alleged that the driver of the vehicle had a history of DUI.

When Maples arrived on the scene of the tragedy, she was seen posing for pictures in front of the police tape cordoning off the area in which the 18-year-old victim was killed as a result of the crash.

Maples caught major flak on Instagram, where she posted the photos and videos.

Signing her videos and photos, Maples wrote, “XXX Times Square With Love.”
