Cecile Richards tweets 'facts' about Planned Parenthood — then Twitter reminds her of abortion facts

Planned Parenthood chief Cecile Richards took to Twitter last week to boast about the number of people her organization provides "health care" to each day.

According to Richards, each day Planned Parenthood is open 8,118 people receive some sort of health care. The tweet came in an ongoing Twitter series Richards is doing where she tweets "facts" about Planned Parenthood.

"Fact: Every day Planned Parenthood's doors stay open, another 8,118 people get health care," Richards tweeted late Thursday.

While it is a fact that women can receive cancer screenings, be tested for sexually transmitted diseases, and receive contraceptives at Planned Parenthood, a large part of the organization's daily work still includes abortion.

According to Planned Parenthood's 2014-2015 annual report, the organization killed 323,999 unborn babies over the course of that year, which equates to approximately 1,045-1,062 unborn babies each day considering Planned Parenthood clinics are open approximately 305-310 days each year. They are typically closed on Sunday and eight other holidays.

But Richards conveniently left that fact out of her "fact series."

However, keen Twitter users weren't so quick to forget the facts and promptly pointed out the toll Planned Parenthood's abortion services have on human lives each and every day.

Facts are facts.
